Corporate Stewardship is an important part of who we are at CCA Technology.   We seek to understand and manage our impact on the community around us, making it as positive as possible. Treating others the way we want to be treated is a vital part of that.

In 2019, we have chosen to partner with the American Heart Association, committing over $40,000 to them. But our responsibilities lie beyond just a financial contribution. Joe (our Business Operations Guru) has joined the executive committee for the Milwaukee Heart Walk, committing over 100 hours of his time this year to building awareness and raising funds for the American Heart Association. Joe’s family was forever impacted when a severe stroke nearly completely paralyzed the left half of his father’s body. He went from playing guitar in church nearly every week and landscaping in the yard (two of his absolute favorite things to do in his spare time) to not being able to put on clothes without assistance. This destroyed his self-esteem and left him feeling worthless. “Almost without exception, we all know someone who has been impacted by heart disease whether it be a loved one, friend, colleague or acquaintance. We’re ALL impacted. That’s why if there’s anything I can do to get involved and help prevent anyone else from going through what my dad went through, I’m going to do it” says Joe.

In the coming months, this webpage will begin filling up with information on ways YOU can get involved including attending some pretty exciting events (other committee members include the president of the Milwaukee Bucks, and the owner of the Milwaukee Admirals. So a “Suite Night” at some games is likely one of the events), walking with CCA Technology at the Milwaukee Heart Walk in September of 2019, and sponsoring Joe (dollars for pounds) in his quest to lose some weight and live a healthier lifestyle.
